3. Prizes

1st prize (main prize): one refurbished Apple Mac set up to play retro games, supplied with a controller, with working built-in sound.
2nd prize: one refurbished Apple Mac set up to play retro games, supplied with a controller. The built-in sound on this unit does not work; it works with externally connected speakers or a Bluetooth headset (not included).

Prizes are refurbished, not new. There is no cash alternative. Games and software supplied are as set up by the promoter.

4. How to enter

Paid entry: tickets cost £2.00 each. To buy tickets you must correctly answer the question "Who made the Apple iMac?". 1,000,000 tickets are available. Payment is taken by Stripe. Ticket numbers are assigned at random and emailed from comps@stivesitsolutions.com.

Free postal entry: send your full name, full UK postal address, email address, phone number and the answer to the question to: Retro Mac Raffle – Free Entry, IT Solutions, 12 The Broadway, St Ives, PE27 5BN. One entry per postcard or envelope, sent with the correct postage. Bulk, hand-delivered or illegible entries will not be accepted. Each valid postal entry receives one ticket and has the same chance of winning as a paid ticket.

Free share entry: anyone who shares the competition page on social media may claim one free ticket per person via the competition website.

5. Closing date

The competition closes at 11:59PM (UK time) on 30th November 2026. Postal entries must be received by this time. Tickets purchased after 30th November 2026 will be charged but may not be counted in the draw.

6. The draw

The draw will take place on 5th December 2026 at 5PM (UK time) and will go ahead regardless of the number of tickets sold. Winning tickets are selected at random from all valid entries. The first ticket drawn wins the 1st prize and the second ticket drawn wins the 2nd prize.

We intend to stream the draw live on our Facebook page (facebook.com/profile.php?id=61589472291230). Facebook requires a page to have at least 100 followers before it can stream live. If the page has not reached 100 followers, the draw will still take place at the stated time and the results will be published on our Facebook page.

7. Winners

Winners will be contacted by email and/or phone within 48 hours of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 14 days, the promoter may redraw the prize. Prizes can be collected from our St Ives shop or delivered within the UK free of charge. Winners' first name and town may be announced publicly.

8. Your data

We use your details only to run this competition, send your tickets and contact winners. We do not sell or share your details. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen by us.

9. General

The promoter's decision is final. The promoter may cancel or amend the competition if circumstances outside its reasonable control make it necessary, in which case paid entries will be refunded. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Apple Inc. or Facebook/Meta. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
